Axis Mutual Fund Launches a Pension Fund with Insurance Cover

Axis Mutual Fund has established an open pension savings fund with free insurance coverage of liabilities, reports The Hindu Business Line.

Five-year insurance coverage is provided by HDFC Life Insurance. The structure offers three investment plans: aggressive, dynamic and conservative.

Chandresh Kumar Nigam, the Managing Director of Axis AMC, said retirement planning is gradually becoming a critical issue for the working-age population as people face the prospect of longevity.
