Women began to buy life insurance policies 8.67% more often in the last 12 months. Awareness of term life insurance among ladies has increased by 11.55%.
This led to an increase in the overall security coefficient, which exceeded 35 for women (in May 2019, the figure was 33) this year. Max Life India Protection Conotient 2.0 polled a total of 7,014 respondents in 25 cities across the country.
“It is gratifying to see an increase in coverage rates and subsequent improvement in financial readiness for possible problems for women of India,” said Aalok Bhan, the Max Life Director and Marketing Director.
Indian women most often purchase endowment life insurance policies for future investments in children's education.
