Doctor Maria Kolesnikova, in her interview with the electronic periodical news publication Medikforum, told about the health-promoting characteristics of cheese. One of them is the ability of the product to stimulate the production of endorphins in the body, substances that provide a good mood, positivism, and tone. Thanks to that, cheese is useful for the prevention of fatigue and insomnia.

“If you slowly eat a small piece 30 minutes before bedtime, the body can relax, and you will fall asleep easily and in a good mood. Cheese contains vitamins A, C, E, B12, riboflavin, phosphorus, selenium, beta-carotene, zinc, iodine, iron, copper, potassium, calcium, and fat-soluble vitamin D,” the specialist shared.

Maria Kolesnikova noted that cheese should be taken in moderate quantities, a small piece a day is enough. According to doctor, there is no need to eat 100 grams of cheese daily, and it is better to give up on processed cheese entirely.
