How to improve your working capacity in the fall

“The quality of sleep and mood deteriorate in autumn-winter period and affective disorder, a seasonal depression, occurs, which is also associated with a lack of sunlight. About ten percent of people are very sensitive to this,” describes Alexander Kalinkin, head of the Center for Sleep Medicine at the Medical Research and Educational Center of Lomonosov Moscow State University.

According to psychologist Natalya Fomicheva, bright foods, such as pumpkin and sea buckthorn, will put in a good mood. They are healthy, and the colors stimulate the senses. Sport is also a good support for the body. “Give yourself more physical activity, - advises Fomicheva - It helps produce endorphins, which improve your mood.”

Vitamin D and fresh air

Vitamin D gives a feeling of joy and enhances mood, and is produced with the help of sunlight. Do not close the blinds at work, ventilate a room more often, and go out during breaks. Taking vitamin D orally should also help.

Clean eating and more water

Now is the perfect time for natural vitamins, eat more fruits and vegetables. Nutritionists do not recommend getting carried away with fatty, fried foods and overloading the digestive system, this will only worsen the problem with drowsiness.

Brain training and more work

You can't relax. Start learning something new, sign up for a course, take on a new project, or just solve puzzles and math school problems. Train your memory, logic, reading speed; strengthen your brain to make it easier to endure seasonal adaptations. Photos are from open sources.
