According to studies, two or three cups of this drink everyday can reduce the chances of getting sick by 38%, and the chance of dying from it by 46%. By increasing amount of coffee to four or five cups a day, these figures can be raised to 41% and 71%, respectively.
The expert conclusion was based on a model that had been created on the basis of data on liver cancer rate as of 2016 and consumption of coffee among people who died from it.
It turned out that the daily consumption of two cups of coffee would save 452,861 patients. In case of four cups, the number would rise to 723,287.
The researchers have noted that doctors should recommend adding this drink to people’s daily diet for protection their livers from cancer.
