The maximum possible age is not even 100 years old

The well-known phrase that life after 40 only begins is getting more and more plausible. The main thing is to know your own capabilities. Scientists have long struggled with the question of how many years a person can actually live. Available data on durability of the human organism show that our body is able to last much longer than the average life expectancy.

Using artificial intelligence, the researchers analyzed the medical data of hundreds of thousands of volunteers. They were mainly interested in the age at which the human body started losing the ability to recover from damage.

It turns out that human body loses vitality at the age between 120 and 150 years. That is, a person cannot live more than 150 years, even if he really wants to.

However, scientists are trying to increase this age. They are working on drugs that slow down the aging process. The researchers expect that they will increase the maximum life expectancy to 200 years. These drugs are currently being tested.
