The researchers have now found a surprisingly tasty way to improve microbiome. It turned out that daily consumption of avocado is extremely beneficial for the intestines. A new study published in the Journal of Nutrition has found that people who consume avocado on a daily basis have far more beneficial microbes needed for digestion than those who do not consume the fruit at all.

Daily use of avocado not only promotes healthy digestion but also makes the body absorb less fat from other foods. Besides, the fruit is able to increase the body's production of short-chain fatty acids, which help maintain a healthy immune system and regulate appetite and blood sugar levels.
