The list of the most necessary school purchases includes a school uniform - based on the standards approved in the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as casual and sports shoes, a uniform for physical training, a backpack with an orthopedic backrest and a stationery set. The latter is taken for elementary school as an example of the required minimum. It does not include subjects for middle and high school students - in each class, the requirements for a set of accessories are different.
As a result, the total cost of purchases, as of June 25, was within 100 thousand tenge. The difference in expenses for boys and girls turned out to be insignificant, but the difference in purchases in stores and on marketplaces amounted to about 10 thousand tenge. It turned out to be cheaper to buy school uniforms and accessories on the Internet - 95.8 thousand tenge for a boy and 96.3 thousand tenge for a girl, while in chain stores the cost of the minimum school set for boys was 105.5 thousand tenge, for girls - 105.6 thousand tenge.
The amount of 100 thousand tenge is far from final. The calculation method did not include other costs: a bouquet of flowers for the teacher, work and subject notebooks, socks, bows, hairpins, white knee-highs or tights for girls, autumn outerwear, demi-season shoes, fees from the parent committee to the class fund, and much more.
