According to the specialist, prolonged sleep on non-working days can easily disrupt the routine. This can lead to physical and mental health problems in the future.
“When we try to get enough sleep for the whole week, what happens is that we get up late on Sunday and we can’t go to bed early so we wake up early on Monday before work. When often repeated, insomnia and some mental problems occur, since the brain and nervous system experience stress during a sharp change in states of wakefulness and rest,” says Larissa Alekseyeva.
The expert also recommended going to bed in an appropriate environment. For healthy sleep, it is necessary to remove in advance all factors that interfere with it: TV, gadgets, lighting devices and ambient noise.
