“Within the framework of this Week, we organized a seminar on Islamic insurance issues. It was a three-day workshop on the capital market development in Kazakhstan and the region as a whole. We observe a very active development of the banking sector, but believe that the insurance market and Islamic insurance services market in particular, should also develop in Kazakhstan and in the CIS as a whole,” Bello Laval Dunbatta said in an interview with reporters.
He added that further to the seminar within the framework of the week of the Islamic Financial Services Council in the city of Nur-Sultan, there were also working groups relating directly to the Islamic finance market.
Let us note that, IFSB is an international body that develops standards for the effective supervision and regulation of Islamic institutions.
