“The ARDFM has received 115 complaints about the actions of companies that raise funds from citizens under the pretext of providing them with services for access to trading in foreign currency and other financial instruments from the beginning of 2021,” the agency informed.
They add in the ARDFM that the activities of organizations offering Kazakhstani investors access to trading in foreign currency and other financial instruments on foreign markets are currently being actively advertised on the Internet.
The work to include entities providing services for individuals in the forex market into the regulation perimeter, to increase responsibility for investment consulting, as well as to expand measures to counter unfair practices in the securities market, is currently underway.
“Information about the actions of such organizations is brought to attention of law enforcement agencies and letters are sent to the Ministry of Information about the possibility of blocking the website of these companies. In addition, a list of organizations with signs of unlicensed activities is published, the actions of which received complaints,” the ARDFM representatives concluded.
