Thus, Georgian insurers collected 164.39 million lari of premiums ($67.5 million) in Q1 2018, showing growth of 14.32%. According to the regulator, insurance payments increased by 20.8% in comparison with the first quarter of last year.
Although the main share of the market (93.36%) is in the risk insurance segment, the most dynamic growth is observed in life insurance (+58.73%).
The Greek insurance market collected 999.5 million euros in the first quarter of 2018, which is 3.5% more than a year ago.

In voluntary insurance for the period under review the charges amounted to 248.3 million Belarusian rubles (by 45.8 million Belarusian rubles more than a year ago). The share of voluntary insurance in the total amount of gross premiums was 61.7% (against 59.9% as of January-April last year).
