All health workers will receive life insurance policies at regular cost. Life insurance companies will not consider the risk of COVID. Besides, Australian LICs guarantee insurance benefits if people lose their income.
Both initiatives will be in effect until January next year. “These initiatives are aimed to lower fears of Australians about their life insurance,” said Sally Loane, CEO of the Financial Services Council (FSC).
