To implement such criminal schemes, counterparts repeatedly make the same type of transactions and only then drop off radar. It would be possible to save many people from ill-advised acts and ensure the inevitability of punishment for fraudsters with timely detection. I also refer to the newly created Financial Monitoring Agency. The information resources of financial monitoring can be of help. Therefore, it is necessary to establish full cooperation with them to suppress crimes in this area. In general, the prosecutor's office in such matters should be as proactive as possible,” he said.
The President outlined the coordination of the activities of law enforcement agencies focusing on the need to effectively use the entire potential of interaction not only within the law enforcement system, but also with other government agencies. The head of state also called for coordinating the actions of law enforcement agencies within the framework of their functions.
“The negative consequences of the pandemic in the economy and social services can provoke an increase in crime and misdemeanor. Law enforcement agencies should be prepared for this. Any attempts of criminal circles to take advantage of the difficult situation in the country must be severely crushed in the bud,” the President stressed.
