Scammers publish fake licenses and other title documents, including those allegedly issued on behalf of the National Bank of Kazakhstan.
“Fraudsters are calling on citizens to make a one-time payment for the exchange fee. People are assured that investment return is guaranteed by the Kazakhstan cryptocurrency exchange or other financial institutions. However, after the transfer of funds, the scammers stop communicating,” the National Bank’s release says.

The National Bank does not service accounts of individuals and does not conduct cash settlements and transactions.
The National Bank is not involved in the development of any platforms for making money on government reserves.
The list of organizations licensed to carry out investment activities is published on the official website of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Regulation and Development of the Financial Market.
