The purpose of the competition is to promote the social significance of insurance institution and increase the insurance culture of population, as well as encourage journalists to cover topical problems of the life insurance market in Kazakhstan.

“Last year, for the first time in the history of the domestic life insurance market, our company announced the national competition among journalists for the best material on life insurance in Kazakhstan. As a result of the competition, we received a large number of valuable and very interesting materials. We were pleasantly surprised with all the works. The authors used different approaches to cover the topic of each material. True stories of our clients have been also presented, and this is very important for us, because life insurance in our country is still underdeveloped,” says Zhanar Zhubaniyazova, the Board Chairman of LIC Halyk-Life.

The competition is held in three categories in Kazakh and Russian languages: “Best video work” (TV show, video story, video report), “Best print publication” (article, interview, etc.), and “Best work on Internet resources”.

Each nomination winners will receive a cash prize of 500,000 tenge, and for the second and third places - 300 thousand and 200 thousand tenge, respectively.

“Media people from all over Kazakhstan who have published their materials on relevant topics from October 1, 2022 to June 1, 2023 in national and regional TV, print publications, or electronic platforms (published, aired, posted on Internet), are invited to participate” the company explained.
