How many companies have ceased their activities?

Over 102.6 thousand companies in Kazakhstan have temporarily suspended their activities and almost 6.4 thousand are at the stage of liquidation, writes LS.
How many companies have ceased their activities?

According to the Committee on Statistics data, as of September 1, 2020, the number of companies to temporarily interrupt their work has reached 102,630.

Most of these legal entities are represented in wholesale and retail trade, construction, manufacturing, agriculture, transport, real estate transactions and others.

Moreover, 6,380 legal entities are on the company liquidation list as of September 1.

Since the year beginning the loans to the economy have increased by 0.5% (or by 67.1 billion tenge) to 13.9 trillion tenge as of early August. The business loan portfolio has decreased by 1% to 7.1 trillion tenge since the year beginning. Several anti-crisis programs are being implemented in the country today.
