Mortality decreased in Kazakhstan

According to the results of January-September of this year, the number of deaths in Kazakhstan amounted to 101.7 thousand people, which were 26.1% less than a year earlier, Ranking.kz writes.

In terms of regions, the largest number of deaths was recorded in Almaty (9.3 thousand people - 35.1% less than a year earlier), as well as in Karaganda (8.8 thousand people) and Turkestan (7.4 thousand people) regions. The smallest number was predictably recorded in the newly formed Ulytau region (1.5 thousand people).

There is a noticeable decrease in mortality in all regions of the country this year. The reduction in the number of deaths ranged from 18.7% in the North Kazakhstan region to 52.5% in the East Kazakhstan region.

Among the most common causes of death in Kazakhstan, the circulatory system diseases most often appeared: 22.7 thousand deaths, 30.2% less than a year earlier. Next come such causes as neoplastic diseases (10.2 thousand deaths), respiratory diseases (9.8 thousand deaths), accidents, poisoning and injuries (8.5 thousand deaths), as well as diseases of the digestive system (8.1 thousand deaths).
