Ingosstrakh will pay compensation on insurance events directly to drivers bypassing employers. The maximum compensation amount can reach 2 million rubles.
Insurance is included in the standard cost of the service and does not require extra payment. According to the survey by Yandex Delivery, only a third of long-distance truckers have insurance, and 10% of them have to spend their own money on it. Another 37% are thinking about buying a policy or would like their employer to provide it. Health and life insurance for drivers will allow owners of transport companies to reduce costs, provide social support for drivers and, therefore, attract more contractors for transportation, Yandex Delivery reports.
