According to SamRu portal, the members of the Samara Regional Duma will consider the bill on March, 27th. It is proposed to insure emergency paramedics from federal budget resources. The authors justify the need in such a law by the frequent cases of attacks on emergency personnel.
In one form or another, the emergency paramedics have been insured in Russian regions since 2016. But there is no unified system for their life or health insurance. In the State Duma, the law on toughening punishment for attacking emergency workers has not been adopted yet.
