As it was found during the investigation, two young people were entering into a life and health insurance agreement for one of them with 22 insurance companies from last June to this January.
Then they made arrangements with their acquaintance who agreed to break two of his toes to implement the fraudulent plan. The crippled friend, on behalf of the insured person, went to casualties ward, where he received a medical assessment with the appropriate diagnosis.
Subsequently, the defendants turned to insurance companies with a demand for compensation for damage allegedly caused to the health of one of them. The benefits varied from 30 thousand to 50 thousand rubles (from 150 to 255 thousand tenge). The total amount of damage caused exceeded 1.2 million rubles (6.9 million tenge).
The criminal case files have been sent to court.
