Food prices have grown by 11.6% over the year, which is the highest rate since October 2016. Non-food products have increased in price over the year by 5.2%, and paid services - by 3.9%.
The foodstuffs that have increased the most over the year, are: wheat flour - by 19.6%, buckwheat - by 36.2%, corn flour - by 26.7%, eggs - by 32.9%, sunflower oil - by 41.9%, potatoes - by 22.9%, granulated sugar - by 40.4%, etc. Rice has dropped in price over the year by 0.6%, millet - by 1.9% and white cabbage - by 19%.
Among non-food products and services, an increase of over 10% was recorded in detergents and cleaning products, rental housing and garbage collection. In addition, clothing and footwear went up by 5.2%, personal goods - by 9%, ambulatory and food services - by 6.6%, and hairdressing services - by 7.1%.
Inflation since the year beginning amounted to 1.3%. Over two months, food products have increased in price by 2.2%, non-food products - by 0.7%, services - by 0.6%.
