Investment life insurance combines two terms that are well known separately, but take on a new meaning when they are together.
Investment life insurance (ILI) is an investment in both life insurance and investments. A person gets the following:
- Life insurance: in case of insurance event, he is entitled to insurance benefits;
- Security of funds: if the insurance event does not occur, the invested money will be returned in full at the end of the policy term;
- Opportunity to earn: money tied-up is invested, and if the stock index rises, the investor will benefit, and if it falls, the investor will not lose anything.
