The meeting was opened by the Deputy Chairman of the National Bank, the head of the permanent representative office of the financial institution in Almaty, Vitaly Tutushkin. He emphasized that the report on the financial stability of Kazakhstan was one of the key documents of the National Bank, and he reminded that it was first published in 2006.
The current report focuses on key risks to financial stability. It also provides an explanation of the prospects for financial stability in connection with existing threats.
The first deputy chairman of the ARDFM Nurlan Abdrakhmanov spoke about the agency's active participation in the preparation of this document. He notes that this document allows for forecasts to be made on probable scenarios for the development of the situation in the financial market.
Deputy Director of the Department of Financial Stability and Research Zhandos Ybrayev explained that new indices were developed for monitoring the stability conditions of the financial market. This methodology allows for the preparation of warnings of early instability.
