The volume of payments increased by 16% compared to the same period in 2020, which in general amounted to 40% of total payments in the life insurance market of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
More than 1.4 billion tenge of payments were made under retirement annuity agreements, 0.5 billion tenge - under employer's liability agreements and almost 0.5 billion tenge - under contracts of compulsory accident insurance. I would like to note that payments on settled insured events for compulsory accident insurance in the 1st Q 2021 doubled compared to the same period last year.
These figures once again demonstrate the high level of reliability of JSC Halyk-Life, as well as the level of customer confidence in the Company. Halyk-Life is at the top of the list among life insurance companies in terms of insurance payments and has a financial stability rating at the “B+” level as well as the highest credit rating at the “bbb−“ level among all Kazakhstani life insurance companies by the international rating agency AM Best.
