There is an increase in real wages up to 23% in some economic sectors of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

A number of economic sectors of Kazakhstan showed an increase in wages as of end of 2020, writes LS.
There is an increase in real wages up to 23% in some economic sectors of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Thus, real wages in healthcare have risen by 23.1% over the year, in education - by 17.9%, in public
administration - by 11.3%, in agriculture - by 8.1%, in housing and food services - by 7.8%, and in the
field of communications - by 6.8%.

In 2021, it is planned to increase the salaries of public sector employees, that is, health workers,
teachers and social workers (785 thousand teachers - by 25%, 247 thousand health workers - by 30%, 38 thousand employees of social and medical institutions of social care - up to 45%).

Besides, the real wages in transport and warehousing are growing - by 4.8%, industry - by 3%, art,
entertainment and recreation - by 2.4% and trade - by 0.3%.
