Deputy proposed to revise pension legislation

T

his was suggested by Majilisman Yerzhan Beisenbayev. According to him, since last year, businessmen have had another mandatory pension contribution for their employees with the amount increasing annually.

“However, many entrepreneurs do not have official employees at all. Nevertheless, they have to pay additional employer pension contributions for themselves. I would like to remind you that the head of state has ordered to liberalize the economy, i.e. free enterprises and eliminate the unnecessary pressure on business. In this regard, we propose to reconsider the issue of pension contributions by employers. We also believe it advisable to combine all taxes and payments from the payroll and simplify obligations imposed on entrepreneurs,” he suggested.

According to him, six types of taxes and payments are currently transferred from salaries, a total of about 40%. And an increase of another 5% is expected in 2028.

“This is a significant financial burden on entrepreneurs. However, many questions regarding efficiency and transparency are raised by the management of incoming funds, for example, the UAPF,” summed up Beisenbayev.
