This year the contest is held in the "Traditional song" nomination. The competition organizer is the P. Tchaikovsky National Musical College. This project has been supported by Nomad Life IC for 6 years, as the company in its sponsorship activities always has highest regard for national culture, history, and art.

The competition has been held since 2017 and during its existence has proved its relevance and importance for the development of national musical culture. This year the competition coincides with the 90th anniversary of the P. Tchaikovsky Almaty Musical College and the 15th anniversary of Nomad Life. The main goal of the project is to popularize the national instrumental and vocal musical heritage of the Kazakh people, preserve their authenticity, support and identify young talented folk musicians representing various Kazakh performing traditions.
