Since the year beginning, the deposit base in banks has grown by 2.96 trillion tenge to 20.94 trillion tenge. Of these, 2.36 trillion tenge of growth accounted for the ten largest second-tier banks of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The largest financial institution in the country Halyk Bank (Narodny Bank), as expected, became a growth leader in the difficult period. Since the year beginning, the bank has increased the volume of deposits by 633.6 billion tenge up to 7.1 trillion tenge. Halyk Bank provided 21.4% of the total increase in deposits of STBs of the Republic of Kazakhstan at once, and 26.9% of the increase in TOP-10 banks, deposit holders. In October alone, the bank added another 21.2 billion tenge to the deposit portfolio.
Sberbank (418.8 billion tenge, up to 2.01 trillion tenge) and Kaspi Bank (403.3 billion tenge, up to 2.03 trillion tenge) also make the top three in terms of growth among the largest banks.
