1.9 trillion tenge (+18.7%) in foreign currency, 3.5 trillion tenge (+34.6%) in national currency is kept on deposits of corporate clients. Retail clients have 4.1 trillion tenge (+7.9%) on deposits in foreign currency, 6.8 trillion tenge (+28.3%) in the national currency.
As for the regions, according to the regulator, the Almaty residents accumulated the most money - 6.8 trillion tenge, and Nur-Sultan - 3.4 trillion tenge. Next in terms of volume are deposits in the Karaganda region - 809 billion tenge, East Kazakhstan - 750.6 billion tenge, Kostanay - 552 billion tenge - and Pavlodar regions - 541.4 billion tenge.
Least of all savings were on deposits in Kyzylorda - 175.4 billion tenge - and in the Turkestan regions - 73.1 billion tenge.
