According to the program, once a year 50% of investment return of the National Fund of the Republic of Kazakhstan is distributed among children, citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan who were born in 2006 or later. Based on results of 2023, the first target requirements were accrued to all children in the UAPF, and target savings were accrued on target savings accounts of citizens who reached 18 years of age in 2024, and payments began to be made in February 2024.
Housing improvement
The most active users of funds for improving housing conditions were residents of Shymkent (1034 applications were completed for a total of over 103.8 thousand US dollars), the residents of the Kyzylorda region were the second (832 applications were completed for a total of over 83.6 thousand US dollars), the residents of the East Kazakhstan region were the third (466 applications were completed for a total of over 46.8 thousand US dollars).
The most popular sub-goals for using funds for housing improvement were replenishment of a contribution to housing construction savings for further accumulation (6582 applications were completed for a total of about 660 thousand US dollars), acquisition of housing in ownership through civil law transactions (final settlement) - 83 applications for a total of about 8.3 thousand US dollars, down payment to receive a mortgage housing loan for the purchase of housing - 73 applications for a total of over 7.3 thousand dollars USA.
Tuition fee
The largest number of applications for tuition fee were submitted from Shymkent residents (958 applications for about 96.2 thousand US dollars), the residents of the Zhetisu region are the second (621 applications were submitted for about 62.2 thousand US dollars), the residents of the Zhambyl region are the third (603 applications were submitted for about 60.4 thousand US dollars).
The most popular sub-goals in this area were payments to educational organizations located in the Republic of Kazakhstan in installments (for each academic period or academic year) or in full at one time (for the entire period of study) (4,986 applications were completed for an amount of more than 500.1 thousand US dollars), replenishment of an educational savings deposit under an agreement on an educational savings deposit (805 applications were completed for an amount of about 80.8 thousand US dollars), payments to foreign educational organizations in installments (for each academic period or academic year) or in full at one time (for the entire period of study) (208 applications were completed for an amount of more than 20.8 thousand US dollars).
The total number of program participants is 6,919,131 children. Of these, 304,815 fellows will turn 18 in 2024. They were all awarded the same target requirement amount of $100.52 US cents.
