The implementation and promotion of the long-term care insurance program “Standard of Care” is carried out in accordance with the product development plan. First of all, the program was launched in the company's agency channel; sales showed a stable interest from clients, the press service of Kapital Life told ASN. The initial cost of the policy is from 7 thousand rubles (36.4 thousand tenge) per year. The average cost is about 15 thousand rubles (78 thousand tenge) per year.
The average costs for medical treatment and long-term care are up to 80 thousand rubles (416 thousand tenge) per month, which corresponds to the terms of the insurance policy. The payments are made not to the client but to the institution providing care. The program makes provision for services after the occurrence of insured events and depends on insurance option and client’s individual needs.
