The lives of volunteers of the MES and MIA of Russia are offered to insure for 1 million rubles

It is proposed to insure volunteers who risk their health and life by helping the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Emergency Situations, and Ministry of Internal Affairs. “The money for insurance is to be included in the budgets of these departments, as well as budgets of the relevant regional executive authorities,” the draft document says.

The limit of payments under the contract of compulsory life insurance for volunteers is proposed to be set at the level of 1 million rubles. If a volunteer receives the group 1 disability, he is offered to pay up to 100 thousand rubles. For the group 2 disability, it is proposed to pay 75 thousand rubles, for the group 3 disability - 50 thousand rubles, for a serious injury - 25 thousand rubles, for a light injury - 15 thousand rubles.

The contract is proposed to be concluded for one year. The bill lists exceptions that exempt the insurer from payment.
