The total retained earnings of insurance companies in January-June 2020 amount to 66.1 billion tenge having increased by 85.8% over the year. For comparison: last year, the retained income showed a decrease of 20.1% to 35.6 billion tenge.
The top 10 insurance companies make 82.7% of the total retained earnings for the 1st HY 2020.
The Eurasia insurance company is leading, making almost 41% of the total insurance market, 27 billion tenge, which is almost 2 times more than in the same period last year. IC Victoria (6 billion tenge), LIC Halyk-Life (5 billion tenge) are following up. Nomad Life is in the fourth place (4 billion tenge) and IC Halyk (3.1 billion tenge) closes the top five.
