The national seminar “Prospects for the Compulsory Social Insurance System Development” was held in Astana on September 28.
The compulsory social insurance system requires development

The business event was held in the framework of the National contest “The best social projects of Kazakhstan”. It was organized by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population and the Nur Otan Party.

The experts from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Russia spoke at the seminar. The participants shared their experiences and exchanged views, discussed the solutions to actual social problems. In particular, Galym Amerkhodzhayev, the Chairman of the Board of the JSC GAK LIC, spoke about the system of compulsory insurance of workers against industrial accidents in Kazakhstan.

There was also an exhibition of all projects participating in the competition, and the official award ceremony.

The contest was in such areas as equal opportunities, assistance in overcoming difficult life situations, the development of the volunteer movement in social services, etc. Around 318 authors of projects from all over the country took part in it, which is two times more than last year.
