The insurance sector of Kazakhstan doubled its total retained earnings

The expenses, in turn, increased by 31.6% over the year and in January-February 2022 amounted to an impressive 117.2 billion tenge.

Retained earnings of insurance companies in January-February 2022 have reached 39.1 billion tenge, which is 2 times more than in the same period of 2021. The Kazakhstani insurance sector has been showing profit for the fifth year in a row in the corresponding period. However, only 23 Kazakhstani insurance companies out of 27 showed retained earnings in January-February 2022.
