The Unified National Pension Fund of Kazakhstan released data regarding assets, payments and savings from different depositors in March 13, as Today.kz reports. For today, the total amount of funds on the fund's balance is KZT 7.8 trillion.
In January 2018, revenues amounted to KZT 65.3 billion, an increase was KZT 4.5 billion compared to the same period in 2017 - an increase was seven percent.
“The number of individual retirement accounts (IRA) of depositors (beneficiaries) for all types of contracts as of February 1, 2018 was 10.10 million units, including 9.62 million due to mandatory pension contributions. Mandatory professional pension contributions accounts amounted to 444 thousand, and 39 thousand units are for registration of voluntary pension contributions,” as informs the press service of the UNPF.
The average amount of savings for men of pre-retirement age, which are in the system for more than 16 years, is about KZT 2.6 million, for women - about KZT 2 million. Accumulations of contributors of pre-retirement age, who make regular (at least 9 times per year) contributions, are about KZT 3.3 million for men and KZT 2.3 million - for women.
