“It is necessary to legislate the amount of compensation for harm to life and health of injured on 2-3 million rubles for each victim and without establishing a general limit for all victims of life and health,” Ufimtsev noted.
ARIA also proposes to check the security of facilities from risks, including fire. When concluding an insurance contract or during its annual renewal, the insurer's representative assesses how protected the facility is and whether fire safety rules are being observed. The higher the level of security, the lower is the insurance fee.
The estimates show that the average cost of insurance could be less than 50 rubles (246.2 tenge) per square meter a year, Ufimtsev said. Thus, insurance will not significantly affect the final cost of facilities’ services.
