The insurance company Capital Life Insurance is the first on the Russian market to launch a voluntary health insurance program Standard of Care, which provides professional long-term care at home and in hospitals.

According to the insurer’s press service, the program allows you to quickly organize the care necessary for the patient, a nurse and other personnel assistance, as well as following the medical advice, including the rental of special medical and rehabilitation equipment. The “Standard of Care” policy eases the financial and emotional burden in case of serious illnesses (stroke, heart attack, etc.), care during palliative treatment of malignant neoplasms, establishment of group I or II disability, various forms of dementia, injuries and other consequences of an accident, etc.

The program's insurance coverage also includes prompt online consultations with the attending physician, video monitoring of the patient's condition, collection of biomaterials at home and other important options for caring for seriously ill patients.

An important advantage of the Standard of Care program is its five-year validity period, as well as an individual installment payment method with a fixed price, which allows distribute the financial burden and effectively plan family care costs.
