Food prices increased noticeably for vegetables, the price of tomatoes went up by 12.7%, sweet peppers - by 4.9%, cabbage - by 4.5%, and beets - by 3.6% in March. Among non-food products, the largest growth in prices in March was observed for furniture and household items - 2.3%, personal goods - 1.3%. The increase in prices was noted in healthcare services by 1.7%. Dental services have risen in price by 1.8%, services of medical laboratories - by 1.1%.
The highest monthly inflation by regions was registered in the Almaty region - 1.5% (above the national average by 0.6 percentage points), the lowest - 0.4% in the city of Astana. Prices for food products among regions grew most in Almaty region by 2.2%, non-food - in Mangistau and Karaganda regions by 1.1%, paid services - in Turkestan region by 2%.
