The murder was committed when the father was not at home. The woman's body was found in a forested area near the river a few days after her disappearance.

The cameras recorded how she and her son were going to the country.

NDTV channel quoted a senior police officer Shankar Mishra as saying: “The son was on the run for several days, but we managed to nab him. A sinister crime has been solved and the killer is in the cell.”
