The volume of deposits in national currency for one month has increased by 2.8% to 12.9 trillion tenge, in foreign currency - by 2.5% to 8.9 trillion tenge. The dollarization level as of end of October 2020 was 40.8% (in December 2019 - 43.1%).
Tenge deposits of individuals grew by 1.6% to 6.1 trillion tenge and deposits in foreign currency - by 0.2% to 4.2 trillion tenge (40.9% of individual deposits).
The volume of term deposits is over 14.8 trillion tenge having increased by 2.3% over the month.
The weighted average interest rate on term deposits in national currency of non-bank legal entities was 7% (in October 2019 - 7.2%), on individual deposits - 9.5% (9.2%).
