Wage difference is 33.7%. Compared to the average monthly indicator, men's wages were 14.7% higher; women's wages were 14.2% lower than the national average. Regionally, the men’s highest average monthly wages were recorded in Atyrau (631.8 thousand tenge), Mangistau (590.6 thousand tenge) and Ulytau (489.1 thousand tenge) regions, and the lowest - in Zhetysu region (only 226 thousand tenge).
Men's wages exceeded women's wages by 2 times in Mangistau region, by 85.9% - in Atyrau region, by 68%, in Ulytau region. Meanwhile, women received more than men in the Zhetysu region, although only by 3.1%.
The highest average monthly women’s wages are recorded in Astana: 365.1 thousand tenge, against 306.7 thousand tenge a year earlier. The top three also includes Atyrau region (339.8 thousand tenge) and Almaty (320.1 thousand tenge).
