“The positive dynamics in the gender gap has been 8 points over the year. Thus, the protection coefficient has grown to 43 points, which indicates stable progress,” the insurance company informed in its report.
Among dwellers of large Indian cities, the demand for endowment insurance products is growing. Thus, it has increased by 24% over the year.
“The protection ratio of millennials has not changed over the year, while the one of non-millennials has grown and made 43 points. Besides, the product awareness was similar between men and women. Nearly 50% of urban Indians are still unsure about the adequacy of term insurance coverage when it comes to protecting their loved ones. However, about the same number are satisfied with their savings insurance plans,” the study says.
