“Telemedicine" services allow customers to receive a remote medical assistance during the entire policy, reports comnews.ru with reference to the company’s press office. This option is optimal for clients who cannot use a face-to-face medical consultation because of lack of specialists in towns, lack of time or issue sensitivity.
The service is represented by the partner of Sberbank Life Insurance, a chain of clinics "Doctor Near" on the basis of marketplace DocDoc (included in the Sberbank Group).
The renewed program of credit life insurance is also added with the long-term disability risk, the period of which exceeds thirty-one days. This will allow customers to obtain financial protection in the event of a long stay on a medical leave.
"The main driver of development of risk insurance in 2018 will be the filling of our products with such service components as telemedicine, check-ups and a second medical opinion on the risk of "critical diseases diagnosing". These options will be implemented into various products including mass segment. According to our estimates, more than 3 million Sberbank customers will be able to use the telemedicine services by the end of this year," said Sberbank's senior vice president, head of "Welfare Management" block, Alexander Bondarenko.
