One spoonful of this sweetness a day will reduce the risk of inflammation

“First of all, you need to understand that honey is not a delicacy, but a medicine. The basis of carbohydrates in honey is glucose, fructose, which make 90% of all sugars in the product. That is why it is important to observe the dosage! Honey is used at the rate of 1 gram per kilogram of human weight per day,” Markova said.

Honey has antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, immunomodulatory, antitoxic, and tonic properties. Micronutrients of honey are in the form most suitable for assimilation by the human body. Markova also considered it important to note the presence of contraindications for the use of honey. “They are restriction of carbohydrates for the underlying disease, insulin resistance, or individual intolerance. I do not recommend replacing sugar with honey,” the specialist concluded.
