Regular physical exercise will help reduce the consequences of sedentary lifestyle, traumatologist Alisher Zakhirov told the Gazeta.Ru portal.

The specialist recommends spending 5-10 minutes every hour and a half on training. According to him, the consequences of sedentary lifestyle can be quite serious: cervical osteochondrosis, heart disease, disorders of the nervous system, etc.

“You can also do a set of exercises on neck and shoulder girdle, relieve pain and tension after a working day, warm up hands and fingers, move your feet and do a number of other exercises. Simple exercises will awaken the muscles to contract, and this will have a positive effect on health,” the doctor explained.

Zakhirov notes that it is not good to neglect the sleep regimen. Sleep should be 7-9 hours. It is better not to use phones or tablets before going to bed to avoid unnecessary eye strain. The specialist recommended getting up and going to bed at the same time.
